NEW HEROES REVEALED

Each spring, the Canton Advertising Federation has traditionally recognized a talented and dedicated professional from its ranks as the Ad Person of the Year. While we intend to bestow that honor on a deserving individual next year, this year we are again going to recognize some new faces that stand out from the crowd. The Thrive Under 35 Award will celebrate extraordinary young professionals and students who demonstrate fresh thinking and represent growth and excellence in advertising.

ELIGIBILITY

This award is for young professionals and students 35 years old or younger. The nominee must be a member of the Canton Advertising Federation or AAF-affiliated student organization and be active in the school or company they represent.  A panel of judges using the criteria outlined in the forms below will select one winner from each category listed below:

Creative Award | For those who like it on the edge
Designers, Copywriters, Photographers and Interactive Programmers

Account Services Award | For those who know how to make it happen
Account Executives, Sales Representatives, Project Managers, Business Owners, Public Relations Coordinators, Media Planners and Production/Traffic Managers

Student Award | For those with plenty of growth potential
A local university or college student studying marketing, advertising, design communications, journalism or other advertising-related field.

Deadline: The final decision of the judging panel will be based on nomination forms received by Friday April 2, 2010.
