About the ADDY® Awards
The ADDY® Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, recognizing creative excellence and the very best advertising both in local competitions and worldwide. Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the ADDY® Awards represent the true creative spirit of advertising by recognizing all forms of advertising, from all types of media, created by all sizes and types of entrants, from anywhere in the world. There are now over 50,000 total entries.
The ADDY® Awards are unique among all advertising creative competitions. It is the only competition that includes three rigorous levels of judging. Entries are first judged at a local level through competitions organized by more than 200 ad clubs affiliated with the AAF. Local winners then advance to 14 regional competitions. Finally, regional winners advance to the national/international finals. Awards are given to winners at all three levels of the competition: locally, district wide and nationally. Entry in the local Canton Advertising Federation (CAF) competition is your first step toward winning a national ADDY®.
Winners from the Canton Advertising Federation ADDY® Awards competition will move on to the district competition, covering all of Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia for the right to compete against the best work from throughout the nation.
The competition is open to members and non-members as well as local students. Discounted pricing is available to members. All entries must have had their first use or appearance in the previous year. Judging is typically held each January, and winners are announced at a festive awards gala event in February. For complete rules, category information and more, visit www.addyawards.com.
Student ADDY® Awards
The Student ADDY® Awards Competition is a unique national awards program designed especially for college students. Work entered at your local level can move up to the regional and national judging, just like the work entered by professionals across the country. Applicants must be enrolled full- or part-time in an accredited U.S. educational institution. Student interns are eligible to enter. Submit work developed specifically for this competition or from previous projects or student contests (work must be created while the entrant is a student not employed in the advertising industry). The work will be held to the high creative standards established by the existing ADDY® Awards and will be judged by a leading panel of talented creative professionals and experienced ADDY® judges. Local winners will be automatically forwarded to the District competition for a chance to compete at the national finals. Click here for eligibility requirements.

Sponsorship Opportunities
The ADDY® Awards gala event is our largest event of the year and wouldn’t be possible without the support of our amazing sponsors! We are currently seeking sponsors for the 2013 ADDY® Awards gala event – Thursday, February 28 at the Krassas Event Center in Canton. Opportunities range from $2,500 for an overall event sponsorship to $75 for student sponsorships.
